    Who should take the ēLine?

    The ēLine was designed for active adults who want to do more with their health.

    What does "bioavailable" mean?

    "Bioavailable" means that a nutrient is more easily absorbed and utilized by your body which allows it to take advantage of the nutrients instead of excreting most of it as waste.

    What are phytonutrients?

    Phytonutrients, or phytochemicals, are plant compounds, which are produced by plants to protect them from toxins and environmental pollutants. While they are not considered essential nutrients, they are believed to contain health-promoting qualities.

    I just started taking eMulti and now my urine is an orangey yellow.

    This is actually quite normal when taking multivitamins or B-complex vitamins. Your urine will often turn a bright yellow or orange color due to the presence of vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin. Your body just excretes what it doesn't need – it’s perfectly harmless. If the color bothers you, simply drink more water to dilute your urine.

    What is Metafolin®?

    Folic acid, or folate, an important member of the B-vitamin family, plays many important roles in the body. Folic acid:

    • Helps maintain normal blood homocysteine levels*
    • Helps nourish the brain and supports mood*
    • Supports protein metabolism*
    • Supports energy production*
    • Promotes normal formation and functioning of red and white blood cells*

    For folic acid to perform fully, it must first be activated into the biologically active form, L-5-MTHF. This is the form that's most usable by the body and the form that's able to cross the blood-brain barrier to carry out important brain functions.*
    However, the form most commonly added to nutritional supplements is folic acid but nearly half of the population has difficulty converting folic acid to the bioactive 5-MTHF form because of a genetic reduction in enzyme activity. If you have a reduced ability to metabolize folic acid, you may have less-than-optimal cardiovascular health. Using a 5-MTHF form of folic acid may help.*
    Metafolin®, a patented form of 5-MTHF, is:

    • the naturally occurring form of folate that's preferred by the body
    • more reliably bioavailable and biologically active than folic acid, the only folate that can cross the blood-brain barrier

    Why take ēWhey?

    ēWhey is a great way to get extra protein in your diet to help build strong muscles and bones and healthy aging. Additionally, ēWhey contains six billion active probiotic cultures per serving. When taken daily, these active cultures support digestive balance and immune health.*

    What is a probiotic?

    Probiotics are globally recognized as live microorganisms which when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host. In other words, probiotics are good bacteria that promote good health. Our bodies already contain trillions of bacteria throughout our intestinal tract. These bacteria are important for proper development of the immune system and help form a barrier to protect us from harmful substances. Probiotic-containing foods and supplements aim to provide more of the good bacteria that support our health.

    What is a culture?

    A culture is a name for bacteria that have been grown to greater numbers in special nutrient-rich conditions. Probiotic cultures are grown and carefully stored for later use in food and supplement products.

    Why is it important to arrive active and ready to work?

    Probiotics are live organisms, and therefore must remain alive in order to get to work properly. The stomach is highly acidic, and has the potential to 'kill' live bacteria. The ēWhey Probiotic formulation is able survive the harsh environment in the stomach and get to the intestine not only alive, but active and ready to work.

    Can I use ēWhey in warm or hot liquids?

    No. Probiotic cultures are heat sensitive; therefore, introducing them to warm or hot liquids kills the cultures. Always read the label before taking any Dietary Supplement.

    Does ēWhey need to be refrigerated?

    No. ēWhey was designed to maintain its potency when kept at room temperature.

    What types of Probiotics strains are in ēWhey?

    ēWhey contains L. acidophilus, Lb. casei, B. bifidum, B. lactis, and B. breve. These stains have each been widely studied in humans for their potential immune and gastrointestinal health benefits from babies to elderly.

    What is a strain?

    Probiotics are most often identified by a series of 3 names: the genus (e.g. Lactobacillus), species (e.g. rhamnosus) and strain (e.g. GG). It is important to know the strain of a probiotic since the health benefits are often specific to a particular strain.

    How often should I take ēWhey?

    ēWhey should be taken once a day as part of your daily routine, especially after a workout or to supplement protein in a meal. Go to Top

    Why doesn't ēOxidant include antioxidants such as zinc, vitamin C or E?

    What is an omega-3?

    Omega-3s are considered essential fatty acids, such as EPA and DHA. They are necessary for human health. The body can synthesize EPA and DHA, however, in very small amounts and therefore supplementation is necessary to get the proper amounts.

    What is ēOmega?

    It is an omega 3 dietary supplement which contains two of the most scientifically studied Omega-3s (EPA and DHA) found in fish oil. In fact, 90%† of the Omega-3s in ēOmega are EPA & DHA (1,000 mg per serving), the types of Omega-3's linked to health benefits.* ēOmega also contains the antioxidants Lutein and Zeaxanthin.

    What are EPA and DHA?

    EPA and DHA are long-chain fatty acids that have been shown to confer health benefits. EPAs and DHAs help support heart health, brain structure, and eye structure.*

    Why should I take ēOmega?

    It is very difficult to attain recommended levels of EPA and DHA via diet alone and therefore supplementation is very important. ēOmega contains a unique formula with nutrients (EPA/DHA), the two most studied omega-3s linked to health benefits, that provide triple action support for your heart, brain, and eyes.* ēOmega is sourced exclusively from sustainable fish sources, designated in ultra concentrated Capliques which control fishy burps. ēOmega is highly purified and quality controlled so that you can be confident you're getting the nutrition you need for your heart, brain, and eyes.*

    What is a Caplique® Capsule?

    A Caplique® Capsule is a 2-piece hard shell capsule, sealed with a band. The advantages to ēOmega's Caplique® Capsules are:

    • Easier to swallow than conventional soft gels;
    • Gives you a purer product by reducing the number of inactive ingredients that act as a carrier for the active ones;
    • Helps you avoid potentially allergic ingredients;
    • Improves bioavailability by promoting absorption and reduced sensitivity to heat and moisture*;
    • Avoids the use of plasticizers;
    • Allows you to see your product's purity through increased viability of contents;
    • Resists tampering.

    What is molecular distillation?

    Molecular distillation removes any impurities down to the particals-per-trillion level.

    What freshness test is performed?

    eNS has each batch of ēOmega tested for freshness through an independent laboratory. The tested used is measured in TOTOX values.

    How many ēOmega Capliques® should I take per day?

    Adults should take three ēOmega Capliques® daily with food. Go to Top

    Does ēRaw replace the fruits and vegetables I get in my diet?

    No. ēRaw is not intended to be used as a replacement for fruits and vegetables in your diet. ēRaw should be used in addition to the daily required servings of fruits and vegetables to provide additional phytonutrients to support cell protection and general health.*

    What is ORAC?

    ORAC stands for oxygen radical absorbance capacity, a measure of the ability of a food or any other substance to quench oxygen free radicals in a test tube. Free radicals are unstable atoms or molecules generated in the course of normal metabolism that can strip electrons from other molecules, causing chain reactions of oxidative damage. Cumulative damage of this sort probably accounts for many of the degenerative changes of aging and for a lot of age-related disease.
    The ORAC test was developed at the National Institute on Aging (NIA), an arm of the National Institutes of Health. It assigns a score or value to a long list of fruits, vegetables and spices. As you might expect, high scores were awarded to brightly colored fruits and vegetables including blueberries and raspberries, some types of apples, and beans.
    Some studies have shown that antioxidants in foods can boost the antioxidant power of the blood. In studies at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging in Boston researchers found that 10 ounces of fresh spinach produced the biggest increase in blood antioxidant scores in women. While "ORAC" and "antioxidant" are different, eating a combination of foods that have demonstrated high ORAC scores has also boosted blood antioxidant scores. ORAC researchers at the Jean Mayer Center suggest that increasing daily intake to between 3,000 and 5,000 ORAC units seems to have a significant impact on plasma and tissue antioxidant capacity.

    Why does ēRaw's ORAC value vary between 3,000 and 5,000?

    ēRaw's ORAC value is naturally occurring, therefor amounts may vary. Go to Top
